Eine weitere Kuriosit\u00e4t des \u201cDeath Valley\u201d ist, dass dort der tiefste Punkt im Nordamerika<\/b> zu finden ist. Das Einzugsgebiet des Amargosa Fluss<\/b> ist der Verursacher dieses Rekords. Es ist ein kleines Wasserbecken, bekannt als Badwater<\/b>, das seinen tiefsten Punkt bei -86 Meter unter dem Meeresspiegel hat<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Obwohl es mehrere historische Aufzeichnungen \u00fcber die erreichte H\u00f6chsttemperatur gibt, sind diese Daten in Wahrheit nicht offiziell, da man glaubt, dass sie falsch gemessen wurden.<\/p>\n

Stattdessen wurde im Jahr 2020<\/b> im kalifornischen Death Valley ein neuer offizieller Temperaturrekord weltweit<\/b> aufgestellt. Am 16. August 2020 erreichte das Thermometer 129,92\u00baF (54,4 \u00b0C)<\/b> und brach damit den bisherigen Rekord, der am selben Ort gehalten wurde.<\/p>\n
