That&#8217;s why <b>you can&#8217;t imagine how many species you can discover<\/b> in this place. Their <b>beautiful pink color <\/b> is striking and intensifies as they reach maturity. <\/p>\n<p>They are very <b>friendly, intelligent, and curious<\/b> animals, so it wouldn&#8217;t be surprising if you saw one during your tour of Cuyabeno.<\/p>\n<h2>Manathies<\/h2>\n<p><center><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.howlanders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/manatee-amazon.jpg?resize=350%2C500&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"manatee and a diver\" width=\"350\" height=\"500\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.howlanders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/manatee-amazon.jpg?w=350&amp;ssl=1 350w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.howlanders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/manatee-amazon.jpg?resize=42%2C60&amp;ssl=1 42w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/center><br \/>\nThe Amazon Manatee is a fairly <b>large specie of sirenian<\/b>, usually measuring about 2.8 meters and weighing up to 500 kilos. <\/p>\n<p>It is a <b>very shy animal<\/b> although it feeds mainly on surface vegetation so <b>you might be lucky enough to see it<\/b>. Among the most important species living inside the reserve are the <b>Macaws<\/b>, the <b>Woodpeckers<\/b>, the <b>Tanagers or the Toucans<\/b>. Thanks to the number of water resources, many studies indicate that there are 475 species of fish, more than in any other basin in Ecuador. Among them are the white <b>piranha<\/b> and the <b>pacu fish<\/b>, native to these waters.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know all these species of animals?
