The <b>Spaniards<\/b> arrived in these lands with their <b>horses<\/b>, but these animals <b>were not able to cross the salt desert<\/b>. Instead, the <b>incas<\/b> moved with the <b>llamas<\/b>, animals that were accustomed to this place. Then, as the Spaniards could not access, the <b>incas took refuge in this mountain<\/b>, a place where they were safe. You know what &#8220;better skill than strength&#8221;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <b>current inhabitants<\/b> of the <strong>Incahuasi Island of the Uyuni Salt Flat<\/strong> are <b>gigantic cactus<\/b>. Some can reach more than <b>10 meters high<\/b>, and live more than <b>1200 years<\/b>.
